OUR AIMS:

01.

To meet the interests and aspirations of APNA NHS members, by influencing policies and practical actions that will lead to parity of outcomes and opportunities for South Asian NHS staff, patients, carers, and wider South Asian communities. This can be in the form of help to reduce current health inequalities faced by South Asian people.

02.

To actively work in partnership with decision makers to drive anti-racism, race, ethnicity, and cultural equality including helping them to understand and tackle structural racism and discrimination throughout all functions of the NHS.

03.

To create awareness of and celebrate the cultural heritage and diversity of lived experiences of the South Asian communities that will enable organisations to drive a positive change in their approach for equality, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) practice.
